Shalini and I went to the ion the other day. I just felt it didn’t really live up to all the hype it came with. All that impressed me there was Uniqlo with most other shops having outlets in other nearby shopping malls, what’s the point of having 10 malls with the same stuff.
My cousin remarked when he came down to singapore that the number of malls we had in orchard was probably more than the number of malls throughout london.
Back to the ion, for all the wow factor the architecture provides on the outside, I think the insides a big boo boo with a confusing basement and average layout elsewhere.
